On 21.09.2024, a robbery took place in Farakka Police Station. Cash, Gold ornaments and Silver Coins were looted. Within 48 hours of the incident, Farakka Police arrested the four accused and recovered Rs 5 lakh cash, 400 Silver Coins, a pair of gold bangles and a motorcycle from them.
