On 08.07.2025, on the occasion of the conclusion of the Road Safety Week program, various public awareness programs were organized by the initiative of various sub-traffic guards under the traffic department of Jangipur PD.

Notable among the awareness programs organized throughout the week by various traffic guards were:

* Tree plantation to maintain environmental balance

Sit-down drawing competition on road safety among school and college students

* Free helmet distribution to make motorcyclists vigilant and aware

* Road drama to increase awareness among the general public and vehicle drivers

* Safe Drive, Save Life Awareness Rally.

The said programs were attended by Shri Amit Kumar Shaw, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Jangipur PD, Shri Md. Nasim, Addl. Superintendent of Police (HQ), Shri Sowmajit Barua, Additional Superintendent of Police (Zonal) and other senior police officers of Jangipur PD.

At the conclusion of the Road Safety Week program, Jangipur Police District thanked everyone and reiterated its commitment to building safe roads and healthy lives by following traffic rules.
