On 18.09.2025, in the presence of Hon’ble Superintendent of Police, Jangipur PD, Shri Amit Kumar Shaw, IPS, along with other senior police officers and Hon’ble Sub-Divisional Officer of Jangipur, Ekam J. Singh, IAS, a modern CCTV Control Room was formally inaugurated at Raghunathganj Police Station with the objective of ensuring public safety and security.

As part of this initiative by Raghunathganj Police Station and Jangipur Police District, 80 CCTV cameras have been installed across different locations in Jangipur town. This system will significantly strengthen police efforts in crowd management, crime prevention, and maintenance of law and order, making policing more effective and efficient.

At the same time, keeping in view the shortage of blood during the summer season, a blood donation camp was organized in the premises of Raghunathganj Police Station. Police personnel as well as local residents actively participated by donating blood, ensuring the success of the camp.
