In order to ensure overall safety and security during the upcoming Sharadiya festival, modern CCTV cameras are being installed in various police station areas under the initiative of Jangipur Police District.

As part of this infrastructure, on 23.09.2025, a CCTV Control Room at Sagarpara Police Station under Jangipur Police District was formally inaugurated by Hon’ble Superintendent of Police, Shri Amit Kumar Shaw, IPS. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Hon’ble Additional Superintendent of Police, Shri Md. Nasim, along with other senior officers of Jangipur Police District.

In addition, as a goodwill gesture ahead of the Sharadiya festival, 26 lost mobile phones recovered at different times were returned to their rightful owners by Sagarpara Police Station.
