66 lost and recovered mobile phones from the Raghunathganj Police Station were handed over to their rightful owners by the Superintendent of Police, Shri Amit Kumar Shaw, IPS, in the presence of other senior officers of the Jangipur PD.

At the same event, financial assistance was provided to the family members of 18 victims (both deceased and injured) of road accidents. They received cheques of ₹2,00,000 and ₹50,000, respectively, under the West Bengal Government’s Solatium Fund.

In addition, Traffic Warden Soumen Das of the Raghunathganj Traffic Guard was specially felicitated for his exemplary act of honesty and humanity. Recently, he recovered a lost bag containing gold earrings and returned it to its rightful owner.
